    1.Tell us about your business.

    FirstBank provides a wide variety of products and services to meet both personal and business needs. Anything from starter accounts for your children to a variety of lending opportunities including mortgages and business loans. Thanks to FirstBank’s 10+ years of record growth, we have the capital to help more customers buys houses and grow businesses.

    2. When, why and how did you start your business?

    FirstBank was established February 28, 1963; FirstBank Erie opened October 12, 1965 and relocated to our current location on May 2, 2018.

    3. Give us an example of a time you went above and beyond to provide good customer service.

    At FirstBank, Banking for good is our primary focus. Banking for good is doing our best to do right by our customers, communities and employees.

    • Our customers are more than a series of numbers – we share their goals

    • Our Officers are not paid on commission – they are encouraged to cultivate long term relationships and will serve as dedicated contacts throughout the lending process

    • Our 24/7 customer service line is staffed by real bankers – not automated systems – to provide customers with quick and easy access to account support

    Since 2000, FirstBank has contributed over $60 million and countless hours to charitable organizations and volunteer efforts​.

    The Erie Police department has been wonderful to us. Ventker Media has really helped us with regional advertising and marketing.

    6. Tell us about a chamber event you enjoyed and found memorable - and why.

    We really enjoy volunteering at all of the events the Chamber puts on however the Concert in the Park has been a really enjoyable way for us to meet a lot of members of the community.

    7. What's something few people know about you or your business?

    As part of our ongoing marketing campaigns, FirstBank has highlighted actual local businesses within the campaigns as a way to help them grow and spotlight their businesses.

    We have been able to cultivate relationships with various residents and businesses within our community.
