    1. Tell us about your business.

For more than 65 years, Les Schwab Tire Centers has taken pride in performance, providing superior value and building customers for life across more than 480 locations across nine states in the West, now including right here in Erie, Colorado.

Beyond the world-class service customers have come to love and expect, we offer a full range of services - from brakes, to shocks, to alignments - which is something you can't find at other major tire retailers. We also have batteries, windshield wipers and emergency kits, all at the same place you get your tires.

    1. When, why and how did you start your business?

Les Schwab opened his first tire center in Prineville, Oregon, in 1952 with a commitment to service that's been unwavering through the decades. No matter how much we've grown, we've kept our small-town values. In addition to going above and beyond for our customers, he also believed in treating employees as partners and supporting our local communities.

Les truly transformed the tire-buying experience for the customer and customers immediately feel the difference when they drive into a Les Schwab parking lot.

    1. Give us an example of a time you went above and beyond to provide good customer service.

We pride ourselves on building customers for life by providing world-class service to everyone who walks through our doors. We work with everyone individually to find their best tire solution, which we sometimes even get thank you calls about later! This commitment to service means our customers not only come back time after time, but they bring in their family and friends. Our strong community giving program is our way of repaying that loyalty by reinvesting in our hometowns, going above and beyond the call of duty by supporting local events and organizations that help build character, support those in need and promote a vibrant, healthy community.

    1. Tell us about a chamber event you enjoyed and found memorable – and why?

As we are only freshly established in the community, I'm looking forward to getting to know the members of the chamber at upcoming events.

    1. What’s something few people know about you or your business?

While we are known best for our tires, Les Schwab is also a trusted expert in alignment, brakes, shocks, suspension and batteries. We also offer free pre-trip safety checks, so if you're unsure if your vehicle is roadworthy, or if you want to double check your tire pressure, we welcome you to visit us at our new store in Erie location!

    1. How has joining the Chamber benefited you?

We like to be part of the community, not just in it, and as new members of the chamber , we're grateful for the network and connections it provides to help us do just that.

    1. What have you discovered about Erie that pleasantly surprised you?

From the Old Town area with great food and shopping amenities, to the numerous biking trails and beautiful parks and community center, we're grateful for the opportunity to grow in Erie. Residents have been very welcoming and expressed how happy they were to have us here, and we're just as eager to have the opportunity to get to know our neighbors and be a part of the community. We're excited to continue finding new ways to reinvest in our hometowns through our strong community giving programs and support of local organizations, because we believe that when our communities succeed, we all do.
