Serving the Erie community since 2008, Elle is involved with both the Boulder Regional Business Partnership Committee and the South Weld County Chambers Coalition. Member of the IBMC Advisory Board.
Jeff Wagnaar, President
Academic Associates Learning Center
Jeff, a 19-year Colorado resident, currently lives in Erie with his wife. He wants to continue to support local business growth and to work on developing new ways to showcase local businesses. Jeff has been serving on the Board for the past 5 years, this has given him a greater appreciation for what a special place Erie is to do business. He has served as Treasurer for the Louisville Senior Foundation. Jeff currently runs a home-based tutoring business.
Barrie Goettsche, Vice President

Family and community are very important to Barrie as can be seen from her 39 years of marriage, 4 children and 12 grandchildren. She has been a member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce since her restaurant opened 12 years ago. Barrie is enthusiastic about being involved and helping to promote individuals and businesses to strengthen the business community in and around Erie. Barrie has also served on the Board for the Carbon Valley Chamber and has been a member of the Lafayette and North Metro Chambers. She also supports many of the schools and organizations within the Erie, Broomfield, Westminster, Tri-Town and Thornton communities.
William (Bill) Jones Jr., CPA,

Bill is a certified Public Accountant with 25+ years of experience. He has enjoyed providing financial strategy and CPA services to businesses and individuals in the Boulder Valley. He has served as a Director and Treasurer for the past eight years. Appointed by the Governor, He has also served on the Colorado Small Business Advisory Council and Small Business Development Center State Advisory Board.

Baille moved to Erie last year and has been running her business for 3 years. She is married and has 3 children. Baille is a Colorado Native and graduate of both the University of Colorado at Boulder and Johnson & Wales University. She loves the small town of Erie which has maintained its small-town qualities and heart even though continually growing. Baille is an area drop off for Free the Girls, she drives for Meals on Wheels and sponsors a section of road In Erie.

Matt’s family has lived in Erie for almost 14 years, they moved to Erie in January of 2005. Matt is a Treasurer of Erie Historical Society, Treasurer of Erie Optimists, member of Erie High School Booster Club, Moo-Poo Committee and on the Board of Directors for Education Foundation of St. Vrain School District. He has volunteered for various Chamber events such as the Christmas parade, Concert in the Park, Brewfest as well as the annual banquet.
Sharon has been an Erie resident for 7 years and has been operating her business for 1 year. She has a 14-year-old- boy/girl twins. Sharon is involved In the Toast Masters member, Chamber Leads Group, have Volunteered at the Concerts in the Park and Wine Fest. She has a passion for our community and would like to be more involved in Erie’s overall growth. Sharon believes that by hosting community events and business networking opportunities, the Chamber can bring us all together while keeping pace with our rapid community growth.
First Bank of Erie
FirstBank has been a member of the Erie business community since 1965; Adam has been managing the Erie FirstBank branch since 2013. He has been a personal resident of Erie since 2014. Adam has been a member of the Erie Chamber of Commerce and the Carbon Valley Chamber of Commerce for 7 years. He provided a presentation this summer(2018) for the Erie Chamber members on the different types of small businesses financing available in the market and how they function in addition to some fraud training for business owners.
John Murphy Millworks
John along with Rose have owned John Murphy Millworks since the mid 1980’s. In 1995 They moved the business to Erie and built the 20,000-sf Shop on Telleen. In 2012 they sold the business and created a 1400 sf shop to do smaller woodworking projects. Him and Rose have been married for 36 years. John has a college degree in Geology from Western State. He was on the BOD for 4 years and have volunteered at several events each year. John is also the one who drives the 1928 Model A Ford in the Christmas parade.
